Mardi Doherty & Fiona Lynch have collaborated on many projects over the past five years. Recently we have formed Doherty Lynch. Since working together we have developed a reputation as passionate designers who are committed to finding creative solutions & delivering high quality projects.
The practice works principally on residential, hospitality & retail projects, where a strong design component is required. The studio is constantly exploring the possibilities to generate new interior spaces with architectural elements.
Our studio practice is energetic, positive and encourages open discussion about design. We also have a strong philosophy of collaboration with architects, engineers, graphic designers & builders. This continuous dialogue with our collaborators and clients has resulted in many successful projects.
Fiona Lynch
Fiona’s passion for residential design was developed whilst working with John Wardle Architects, an intensive design practice based in Melbourne. She was involved in many award winning projects including Dock 5 apartments at Vic Habour, and the Vineyard House at Tuerong. She gained experience on large scale institutional projects as well as exquisite small scale projects. Fiona has also worked with Geyer and Bates Smart, on local and international projects including Burswood Casino Perth and Victoria Gardens in Beijing
Fee loves to cook paella and swim.
Mardi Doherty
Mardi has worked locally and internationally, for both large & small scale design studios. Her love of retail & residential design grew from working with Chris Connell Design, on projects such as Melbourne Wine Room, Calibre & Fig.
Mardi moved to London & thrived, working on retail projects including Diesel whilst working with Conran Design Group, Victoria Secret in New York, & Madonna’s London house with David Collins Architecture
Mardi spent 3 years working on the interiors of the NGV at Federation Square, with Lab Architecture Studio.
Mardi loves rowing and chocolate ripple cake.
