This brief required we create a youthful working kitchen in which you want to spend time. It was a space limited project, so function was very important. We utilized the void under the stair case by designing a walk in pantry. The appliance cupboard has bi-fold doors creating easy access for daily use. The refrigerator and dishwasher are integrated and as a result do not dominate the small space. The floor to ceiling corner window provides natural light in the kitchen. A striking wallpaper sits behind display shelves as a feature backdrop for the space. Japanese Sen Ash veneer is mixed with vinyl wrapped joinery creating warmth with texture.
